Dua Lipa here she is, with her new song “Houdini” and he wants us all to sway to his rhythm. The track hints at the psychedelic approach the singer is taking on her upcoming third album.

Lipa enlisted a number of collaborators for the track, including Tame Impala’s Danny L Harle and Kevin Parker. He also collaborated with songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. and her longtime collaborator, Caroline Ailin, with whom she co-wrote ‘New Rules’ and ‘Don’t Start Now’.

The end result is a funk-disco song, where Dua Lipa admits to being a little frivolous in her relationships: “I’m not here for long/Catch me or I go/Houdini,” she sings on the chorus.

Lipa released her second album, ‘Future Nostalgia’, in 2020, shortly after the pandemic lockdown. “Levitating” and “Physical” became huge hits. He extended the album as a deluxe edition and later an extended club mix in collaboration with Madonna. Lipa toured in support of the album in 2022.
