Juliette announced this Monday (13) that she broke her professional partnership with Anitta’s career management company. In the statement, shared on social media, Grupo Rodamoinho revealed that the decision was mutual. The breakup comes a month after a plagiarism controversy with Emicida.
“We inform you that, after a decision taken by mutual agreement, Rodamoinho will not represent (as of 01/12/24) the singer Juliette commercially and artistically”, says the statement. The breakup, however, appears to be just professional, as the friends enjoyed parties together last weekend.
The winner of BBB 21 signed a contract with the producer shortly after leaving the reality show and entering the music world. Since the release of her first album, she has faced accusations of plagiarism. In 2021, her first album generated accusations of plagiarism in relation to the band Boogarins. Three of the album’s six tracks had the same names as the group’s songs from Goiás. Recently, during an interview, Manu Gavassi expressed disappointment with the similarities between the song “Quase Não Namoro”, by Juliette and Marina Sena, and “Gracinha”.
Last month, the singer was also accused of plagiarism for “Magia Amarela”, a collaboration with Duda Beat, which received criticism for its similarity to “AmarElo”, by rapper Emicida. The track was recorded as an advertising campaign for the Bauducco brand and was taken off the air after confusion on social media.
