‘Sabrina Sato Experience’: what the exhibition is like in honor of the presenter’s 20-year career

Only in 2023, in the year in which she celebrates 20 years of career, Sabrina Sato has stories to tell that would make an entire book. In the rhythm of carnival, dozens of events, two recently launched TV programs, the presenter was surprised, this Tuesday (21), with the launch of “Sabrina Sato Experiente”, an interactive and multimedia exhibition set up at Shopping Vila Olímpia, in Sao Paulo.

Anyone who thinks they can visit the themed space is mistaken: the structure was only set up for this Tuesday, in order to surprise the artist herself. According to her advisor, she didn’t know anything and it was a whole scheme to hide her surprise until the last minute. When she arrived at the mall, around 8 pm, Sabrina was wearing a red outfit that imitated a heart – and with her usual smile and captivating good humor.

After taking photos with the fans who gathered in front of the exhibition, Sabrina made room to talk to the excited press. According to her, the moment is one of gratitude and insistence. “Often, the world doesn’t believe in us, but the people who are with us insist, they say it will work. We take it a lot in stride, but we also learn”, she guarantees.

Inside the exhibition, divided into five large spaces, the visitor crosses a timeline, from their first steps in BBB 3, through the carnival – which has a three-dimensional corridor, with projections on the walls and floor – as well as a room with cuts from Sabrina’s programs and their fun moments.

In the fourth and fifth rooms, it is possible to fully immerse yourself in the Japanese woman’s life: in one of them, the person wears 3D immersion glasses and sees the artist’s audiovisual projects, in addition to being able to participate in an interactive memory game; in another, you can still see the artist’s recent looks up close, in addition to seeing other productions in 3D.

SECRET OF SUCCESS

For the celebrities who crossed the red carpet at the entrance, Sabrina Sato’s qualities are very evident and justify her power. “She is complete in everything, she is always a success. Only she is capable of dancing samba in two sambadromes in two different states on the same night”, praises actor Thiago Oliveira, friend and presenter of the event.

For Mariana Rios, her humor infects everyone – something that is in the speech of all the guests. “She is very warm: human, light, unarmed, very simple. That’s captivating”, adds Igor Rickli, who was present alongside his wife Aline Whirley.

In the end, Sabrina herself explains what justifies her success over two decades. “It’s never losing our roots, since we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. If we don’t maintain our essence, what we believe in, nothing matters,” she adds.

In the exhibition, it is clear that the presenter only sees everything as the beginning of a journey. Even though it is present in so many areas, not even the sky seems to be the limit for it. “I feel like I’m just starting out, learning, in every way, both personally and professionally. I still have so much to do, accomplish, so many people I want to date (laughs)”, she says, when asked what’s still missing.
