Carnival 2024 is less than three months away and samba schools are already drumming their drums and crying their hearts out to present their new famous members. This Wednesday (22), Rafa Kalimann was announced as the muse of Imperatriz Leopoldinense. The actress and presenter will make her debut at Marquês de Sapucaí, in Rio.
“I’m thrilled and very happy. The invitation came at a very good time and I want to be able to be with the school”, said Kalimann in the group’s shed, in Cidade do Samba, Port Zone of Rio. The former BBB member has already seen the outfit that will use in the next parade. “I loved it. I was impacted by everything I saw here. Everything is beautiful. I’m really happy. We’re going to work hard.”
Kalliman will be presented to the community next Friday (24), during the school rehearsal, and will also be present at the event celebrating National Samba Day, in Cidade do Samba, on December 1st.
Champion of 2023, the Imperatriz will take to the Sambódromo in Rio the plot written by carnival artist Leandro Vieira. “With luck turning to the moon according to the will of the gypsy Esmeralda” about the gypsy’s will written more than 100 years ago by the Paraíba poet Leandro Gomes de Barros.
