Bruce Willis’ wife shared a heartfelt message of gratitude and a photo of the family as they celebrated their first Thanksgiving, following the revelation that the actor is battling frontotemporal dementia.
On November 23, the Emma Heming posted on Instagram a photo of the actor with the whole family, which was taken a month after the diagnosis was announced by his relatives.

“I’m thankful to know this kind of love,” wrote the star’s wife in her post. “I wish you a happy Thanksgiving».
In the photo, Bruce and Emma appear with their daughters Mabel and Evelyn, the actor’s ex-wife, Demi Moore, as well as their daughters. The company also includes two of the family’s pets, Demi Moore’s tiny chihuahua Pilaf and Tallulah’s chihuahua Goose.
Recently his wife spoke of the difficulties she has faced since the family announced the actor’s “battle” with dementia.

Emma noted that one of the lessons she learned is that “hope is everything.” He wrote: “I have a lot more hope today than I did after Bruce was first diagnosed. I understand this disease now more and am now connected to an incredible community of support. I have hope that I have found a new purpose—admittedly one I would never have sought—using the limelight to help and empower others. And I have hope in how our whole family can find joy in the little things and in coming together to celebrate all the moments life has to offer».
