The Weeknd donated $2.5 million to humanitarian aid in Gaza.
The music star, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, donated this amount to the UN through the XO Humanitarian Fund he has established, to be used for more than four million meals emergency for affected civilians.
The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund is directing $2.5 million to Gaza, which will pay for the equivalent of more than four million emergency meals for affected civilians.

The UN’s World Food Program (WFP) says the money will go towards buying 820 tons of food, which could feed more than 173,000 Palestinians for two weeks.
