In the Cosmos section, two concerts will flood the Stavros Niarchos Hall with melodies
These holidays, the Christmas World of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is filled with music and invites the public to watch a rich program with different sounds for all tastes.
In the Cosmos section, two concerts will flood the Stavros Niarchos Hall with melodies: on December 11 the intercultural symphony orchestra and the youth choir of El Sistema Greece welcome the audience with Christmas songs from the five continents, while, remaining in a festive mood, today the At Christmas, the ERT National Symphony Orchestra presents the “Papageno Holidays”, a musical performance inspired by Mozart’s “Magic Flute”.
The SNFCC Youth Council is also part of the big celebration, organizing a series of different activities. Up-and-coming bands will be presented at Stavros Niarchos Park, setting the pace with a series of open air gigs. The music and dancing, however, do not stop there – a set of headphones, two DJs with a simultaneous presence and an impressive lighting installation in the Dome are what are needed for a successful Silent Disco Party.
The holiday season will be closed with a delightful concert in the Agora dedicated to the king of rock and roll Elvis Presley (07/01) which will cover his entire discography. In addition, throughout the holidays (23/12 – 07/01) the 360° Christmas Pop-Up Bar at the SNFCC Lighthouse awaits guests with DJ sets from well-known producers combined with Christmas cocktails and a wonderful view of the city.
All concerts are held thanks to the donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
