After the repercussions over a comment regarding the Covid-19 vaccine, Ana Maria Braga’s eldest daughter went live on her official Instagram profile to say that she is not anti-vaccine.
On Wednesday afternoon (13), Mariana Maffeis called immunization against the virus a “satanist agenda” and that she considers the Ministry of Health’s vaccination campaign to be “absurd.” She said she stirred the hornet’s nest and claims she is not anti-vaccine .
“Everyone has the right to choose what they put in their body, the vaccine is life for you, [mas] It may not be for other people. It saved lives for sure, but it really didn’t stop the transmission of the virus, it starts there.”
Vaccination against Covid-19 is not mandatory in Brazilian territory, but is indicated to control the spread of the virus. This year, the Ministry announced that immunization against coronavirus will be incorporated into the vaccination calendar of the National Immunization Program in 2024.
The hatha yoga teacher also commented that the obligation should be questioned in the name of freedom.
“People must have a choice, health is a personal and non-transferable matter, it is very important that we have the right to freedom.”
