Hugh Grant has revealed how he became a fan of K-pop group BLACKPINK. The British actor recently appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to promote the new feature film ‘Wonka’, in which he stars alongside Timothee Salame.

During the interview, host Jimmy Fallon referred to a tweet posted by Hugh Grant, in which he referred to himself as ‘Blink’, as BLACKPINK fans are called. The actor then explained how he ended up watching the K-pop group perform live and became a fan.

“I have a daughter who got me into it. Well, K-pop is not automatically the right music for a grumpy 63-year-old Englishman” said Hugh Grant. “But it was a huge BLACKPINK concert in Hyde Park in London and he took me therehe added.

“Tthe exciting thing is that she is a very good girl. She is a very good girl at school, she is a very good girl at home. She is wonderful. But at the concert he turned into a possessed child, like in the movie “The Exorcist”he said.

However, Grant said that after watching BLACKPINK’s live concert for an hour, he too found himself waving the light-up heart-shaped hammer that the group’s fans carry with them to concerts, just like his daughter did. “They were amazing. I love them” write down.
