Teen star from the 1990s becomes a grandmother in fiction and fans react against the new work

Who remembers the series “Sabrina, The Witch’s Apprentice?”, which was a hit on TV between the 1990s and 2000s? Can you imagine that the protagonist has already become a grandmother in fiction? Well, fans of Melissa Joan Hart, 47, reacted badly upon learning about her newest character in the production “Would You Kill for Me? The Mary Bailey Story” (2023). The actress needed to explain about the work.

“Although I’m proud of my performance in my most recent film, I couldn’t feel more flattered that people don’t see me as a grandmother (even though it’s possible to be a grandmother at 47 years old)”, Melissa began in her report.

She also acknowledged that she loved the fans’ “outrage”: “It’s also refreshing to go viral for my work and not for something controversial,” she said. To conclude, the actress mentioned two of her works, such as “Sabrina, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and “Clarissa Knows Everything” when joking about old age in fiction: “I think now Clarissa knows everything about the American Association of Retired Persons or I can live as a middle-aged sorceress.”

Melissa Joan Hart is the mother of Mason (17 years old), Braydon (15 years old) and Tucker (10 years old), children from her marriage to musician Mark Wilkerson and highlighted that, for now, she is not a grandmother in real life.
