American rapper and actor Cornell Haynes jr, better known by the name Nelly, 47, shared a public statement to apologize for posting an oral sex video on his Instagram Stories. The musician apologized to the woman who appears with him in the video, and said that hackers had put the record in his profile.

The apology note was shared by TMZ. “I sincerely apologize to the young woman and her family, it is unsolicited attention from them. This is an old, private video that was not meant to be made public,” he said in the statement.

The website also claims that the rapper’s publicists explained that the leak of the video was suspected to have been made by hackers, and that they fear that other intimate videos of the singer and even documents could also become public.

Although the intimate video was removed from the artist’s account shortly after its publication, prints and recordings of the record were made and shared on social media. One of the rapper’s most successful songs is “Dilemma” (2002), made in partnership with singer Kelly Rowland.

The artist has eight albums in his career, and the most recent, entitled “Heartland” was released in 2021. However, his most successful album remains his first, called “Country Grammar” (2000), which had more than 8 million copies sold in the United States.

Furthermore, he also has a career as an actor. He even participated in films such as “Blow Down” (2005), “Zapped” (2014) and “Fight for Your Life” (2014). He is currently part of the show “Real Husbands of Hollywood: More Kevin, more problems”.
