‘The Crown’ actor Dominic West says he no longer speaks to Prince Harry

In recent times, Prince Harry’s list of enemies has become public and is only growing. In addition to members of the British royal family and the couple David and Victoria Beckham, the youngest son of King Charles III stopped speaking to actor Dominic West. And it was the monarch’s interpreter in the series “The Crown”, who recounted the disagreement, which allegedly happened in 2014 and led to their total separation in recent years.

Dominic stated that he had a good relationship with Harry long before production began. They met in 2013, during the Walking With the Wounded charity event — when they traveled to Antarctica alongside war veterans. “We kind of lost touch because I talked too much at a press conference. We haven’t spoken since,” the British actor said of his friendship with the Duke of Sussex on the Sunday Morning radio show.

Presenter Kate McCann wanted to know what had happened so seriously that caused the break between the two. “I think they asked me what we did. And what we did to celebrate when we got there,” she replied without wanting to give more details about the episode.

In January 2014, a year after the expedition, West gave an interview and praised Harry to the English press. He said that the two had gotten closer during the trip and told a curious detail about the prince. “He seemed to have specialized in building latrines. He built an incredible structure out of blocks to keep out the wind. He even had a toilet paper holder,” he commented. Harry didn’t like it.

In 2022, West took on the role of Charles for the series’ fifth season. Despite the fight, Harry admitted that he watches “The Crown”, starring the actor, as part of the program The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
