Neymar’s ship had a show featuring the rapper son of Marcinho VP; player tietou singer

Those who were on Ney em Alto Mar, a cruise promoted by player Neymar Jr, which ended last Friday (29), didn’t comment on anything else: the Brazilian national team player’s idolization of rapper Oruam, 23.

Oruam was one of the venue’s musical attractions, with the presence of several celebrities, such as Virginia Fonseca, Zé Felipe, Silvia Abravanel, MC Daniel, among others.

Neymar linked up with the singer and took a photo with him, which went viral among rap fans. But the origin of Oruam was the most talked about topic on the boat due to its origins and controversies.

Mauro Davi dos Santos Nepomuceno, his given name, is from Cidade de Deus, one of the largest communities in Rio de Janeiro. He is the son of drug dealer Marcinho VP, main leader of the Comando Vermelho faction.

VP was arrested in 1996, for being the drug kingpin in Morro do Alemão. Today, VP continues to serve his sentence in the maximum security federal penitentiary of Catanduvas, in the interior of Paraná.

Recently, Oruam caused controversy by tattooing his father’s face on his chest. “Look at the boss, my boss, Marcinho: this one is my father,” he said when showing the drawing on social media.

The rapper also has another drug dealer tattooed on his body, Elias Maluco (1966-2020), convicted of the murder of journalist Tim Lopes (1950-2002).

“This one is my uncle, Elias Maluco, and this one is my cousin Raul”, said Oruam in the same video in which he shows his father’s tattoo in September.

After receiving criticism, Oruam said that he loves his family and does not mind the criticism. “Vagabundo is saying ‘he tattooed Marcinho VP on his chest’. He’s my father! My father, my family… I love him more than anything”, he wrote on X (ex-Twitter).
