The famous singer Nicole Serzinger (Nicole Scherzinger) will make her debut in Broadway in the role which charmed London audiences and received rave reviews.

She will portray the legendary diva Norma Desmond in the musical “Sunset Blvd” by Andrew Lloyd Webber (Andrew Lloyd Webber) as announced by the show’s director Jamie Lloyd (Jamie Lloyd).

Also starring Tom Francis as Joey Gillis, Grace Hodgett-Young and Olivier Award winner David Thaxton.

For the iconic role – previously played by Glenn Close, Betty Buckley and Patti LuPone – the New York Times called it “Serzinger’s career-defining performance” while criticizing The Washington Post called her “the ultimate Norma Desmond».

Based on Billy Wilder’s 1950 film masterpiece, ‘Sunset Boulevard’ was first brought to the stage in 1993 by composer ‘Andrew Lloyd Webber with screenplay and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton.

“Haunted by the memories of Norma Desmond a fallen silent film star longs to return to the movies, and meeting a young screenwriter may be her only hope,” reads the official synopsis.

In addition, the metaphor of the musical marks the return of the legendary composer on his famous stage Broadway after last spring’s legendary “The Phantom of the Opera” after 13,981 performances and “Bad Cinderella,” according to Deadline.
