Even before Globo revealed her name, dentist Rebeca Mota, a supposed participant in Big Brother Brasil 24 who would be confined to the hotel, claims to have given up the chance to enter the program.
Through her social networks, Rebeca says she couldn’t handle the pressure and asked to leave. “Participating in BBB has always been my biggest dream and, in fact, I managed to get as far as possible. I’m just coming back from confinement. I didn’t know how to control my feelings, I always thought that giving up was a sign of weakness, but I had to be very strong to knock on that door and say that I had given up”, he said. When contacted, Globo did not comment.
In total, 18 participants were announced last Friday (5). This Sunday (7), during Fantástico, two other participants (a man and a woman) will be chosen by the public from a group of 14 pre-selected by the program’s management.
The remaining 12 will still have a chance to enter the edition. They will all participate in a dynamic at the program’s premiere, of which Globo has not yet given details. In it, three more men and three women will be chosen live by participants already confined to the house to join them in the dispute.
