BBB 24: Yasmin Brunet’s team speaks out about Maycon’s elimination: ‘Response to machismo’

After Maycon Cosmer’s departure from BBB 24, the Yasmin Brunet published a statement on social media this Friday morning (12) celebrating the model’s stay and, mainly, the elimination of the Santa Catarina native. “The wall was a response to machismo, to prejudice and to that part of society that still insists on believing that a woman can be defined by the clothes she wears”, begins the note.

In a conversation with Wanessa Camargo, Maycon said that he would be afraid to approach Yasmin because of the “‘transparent” clothes that the sister wore outside and inside the house. The singer was startled by the comment and the school cook was heavily criticized on social media. “We will no longer accept it. ‘A woman can wear whatever she wants, with whoever she wants, wherever she is'”, the statement ends.

The team also posted a video with several of Yasmin’s looks and Maycon’s voice criticizing the model’s style. The now ex-brother had also been involved in another controversy with Luiza Brunet’s daughter when she said that he had chosen her to compete in Paredão due to the supposed “shit” she had done outside the house and, therefore, had a chance of remaining in the game.

Yasmin then mocked the participant’s opinion and suggested that the “shit” could only be about the end of her marriage with Gabriel Medina. “It must be because I separated a family, according to the gossips, because I was a poor guy who didn’t know how to make his own decisions about whether to walk away from someone or not”, she said at the time to Wanessa. In addition to the model, nutritionist Giovanna Lima competed in the triple Paredão with Maycon.
