BBB 24: Davi faces Nizam and the public is divided over the language used by his brother

Davi was not happy about being nominated for the second consecutive week on the BBB 24 wall. The brother from Bahia entered the spotlight due to a forced consensus between Nizam, Rodriguinho, Lucas Luigi, Ráculo, Matteus and Juninho. The dynamics of the vote gave this group the power to choose a name directly for the confrontation.

Davi “spoke to Nizam’s face” that he didn’t like his attitude for a reason. The São Paulo native sought out the Bahian before the vote to find out his vote. Nizam responded and Davi shouted at his brother. “I’m a man, I can’t stand fake people, you’re a fake guy. Articulator!”, he shouted.

Then, Davi made a prejudiced comparison between gender and sexuality, which is considered pejorative to the LGBTQIA+ population. The expression had repercussions on the web and generated criticism, including from Gil do Vigor.

There are those who also said that the expression used was prejudiced regionalism, but that the brother’s attitudes would be forgiven.

At around 2:10 am, Michel, married to another man and Davi’s ally in the reality show, reprimanded his brother. “Be careful what you say, this is very delicate and goes down very badly. Dude, you [quando fala isso] takes a minority, and I’m here for that too, fight not to have that”, he said.

Davi apologized to his brother and then asked for a hug. “I made a mistake, thank you for the advice. It was my upbringing, my father raised me like that”, said Davi.

All the movement made the Bahian’s name the most discussed Brazilian topic on X, formerly Twitter, during the early hours of this Monday (15).

Isabelle, who was also in the room with Michel and Davi, advised “go for an x-ray tomorrow and apologize”. The brother accepted both pieces of advice.
