Two Madonna fans filed a lawsuit against the singer, accusing her of inconveniencing those who had bought tickets to her concert after appearing on stage more than two hours late.

Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden claim the 65-year-old singer didn’t take the stage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center until 10:45 p.m. on December 13, 2023 – two hours and 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m., the NBC website reported.

The late start of the concert resulted, as they state in their lawsuit, in “her fans having limited public transportation options or increased public and private transportation costs at that time.”

Also, the lawsuit states that many people who attended the concert had to “wake up early to go to work and appear consistent with their family obligations the next day.” The Queen of Pop is named Madonna Louise Ciccone in the lawsuit, along with event organizers Live Nation and the Barclays Center.

Madonna’s tour marks the singer’s 40th year in the music business and was originally set to kick off in Canada before being postponed after she contracted a serious bacterial infection in late June.
