Mara Maravilha announces that she will be a mother again: ‘Our divine gift’

by

Mara Maravilha, 53, announced on her social media that she will be a mother again. She, who adopted little Benjamin, 4, almost two years ago, must now adopt a girl, Bela. “We are receiving our divine gift: our Beautiful Benjamin,” she said on Instagram.

“It’s true! The Benjamin family will grow. The Heavenly Father is already bringing our daughter directly to our hearts. I, Gabriel [Torres, seu noivo], my mother-in-law, our families, friends and fans can rejoice. 2022 arrives for us with this good news”.

The presenter spoke again about changing her name, adding Benjamim as her surname, as she had already mentioned when F5. The son’s middle name must be adopted by the whole family – his first name, Mara prefers not to make public.

Mara had also been talking about adopting another child, even considering adopting twins. “Gabriel is the best father, he is really the perfect father for my son. I hit the lottery twice. I just thank you, a lot of gratitude”, she said to the F5 last year.

Although motherhood arrived after the age of 50, Mara Maravilha says that she always knew she would be a mother. “Since I was a little girl, playing with dolls. But I put my career as a priority, and I think I lost the timing a little. Which I believe should happen to a lot of women these days.”

Mara had been on the adoption line for nearly four years when she got the call about Benjamin. “I got the call from the social worker, then God said: ‘You’re going to be a mother like this’. [Benjamim] it was not born of me, but it was born for me. She was born in my heart, and every child has to be born from the heart. Adoption is a divine act of motherhood.”
