BBB 24: Reality director is relieved with Vanessa Lopes’ withdrawal

Vanessa Lopes’ withdrawal from BBB 24 (Globo) may have taken the other participants by surprise, but the program’s management had been expecting this outcome since Wednesday (17). That’s when the influencer started to show signs that she was facing mental health problems.

O F5 found that, two days ago, she had already made it clear that she did not want to continue in the game during a conversation with the program’s psychologist. At the time, however, she was advised to stay on the attraction for a while longer and reminded that she could quit at any time if she really couldn’t handle the pressure.

But the production team started to get scared of the influencer after the last conversations with her confinement colleagues. Her departure this Friday (19) was seen as a relief, as they no longer knew how to handle the situation nor could they remove her from there without her breaking one of the program’s rules.

The directors feared a more serious situation. A producer of the attraction, who did not want to be identified, told the F5 that the entire team was worried and that, through the program’s cameras, the participant was being monitored more carefully at all times.

Vanessa even insinuated that the brothers were actors and also commented that the book “1984”, written by the British George Orwell, was inspired by the program. The classic of world literature was released in 1949, when television had not even arrived in Brazil (the first broadcast was in 1950).

The influencer threw away all her colleagues’ toothbrushes while cleaning the bathroom and said disconnected things to Alane and Beatriz. Many celebrities such as Deborah Secco, Jojo Todynho, Whindersson Nunes and Mel Maia showed concern for their sister and asked her to leave.

When contacted, Globo sent a statement about the participant’s departure. “Vanessa Lopes pressed the withdrawal button from the Big Brother Brasil 24 house on the afternoon of this Friday, January 19th. A participant’s withdrawal results in their disqualification from the reality show. More details will be provided by Tadeu Schmidt on BBB, tonight,” the statement said.
