Sérgio Hondjakoff asks for a job on social media: ‘Available to work hard’

Famous for playing the character Cabeção in “Malhação” (1995-2020), on Globo, Sérgio Hondjakoff, 39, used his Instagram profile this Wednesday (24) to ask for a job. The actor, who spent more than 10 months in a clinic in the interior of São Paulo to treat drug addiction, made himself available to the market to “work hard in 2024”.

“Casting producers, TV stations, streaming series, cinema, soap operas and events. I’m available to work a lot in 2024”, asked the artist, also announcing his WhatsApp number. He had already announced the contact details to find a company in 2020.

He had already been announcing his availability for VIP presence at events and parties as well as a musical show alongside singer Dino Boyer. “We have a repertoire with pop, soul and funk songs such as hits by Tim Maia, Sandra Sá, O Rappa, Claudinho and Buchecha and others.”

Before Christmas 2023, the actor took a toxicological test which came back negative for a series of drugs, such as amphetamines, methamphetamines/ecstasy and cocaine. He announced that he had taken the test to prove that he had been clean for over a year. “I feel refreshed, completely clean of everything,” he said.

In April 2023, Hondjakoff was discharged from a rehabilitation clinic to treat chemical dependency, in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo. The actor said in an interview that he had been using drugs since he was 14, but that behind the scenes on the teen soap opera increased and led him to addiction.

“I started using drugs at school when I was 14. I had that friend who was already using cannabis and doing well. He picked up all the girls and I ended up being inspired by him. In the beginning [usar a droga] It was actually good, there were advantages. I started to see myself more outside the box. But then I started using it too much”, he recalled in an interview with the Papagaio Falante podcast shortly after leaving the clinic.
