Widow of Playboy founder says sex with him was ‘weird and robotic’

by

Anyone who thinks that, despite being very active, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s sex life was full of alternatives is mistaken. At least that’s what his widow, Crystal Hefner, says in her recently released book “Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself.” ).

In some excerpts released by People, Crystal states that sex with her then-husband was “weird and robotic.” When she met him, she was 21, and he was 81.

“It was a well-rehearsed, practiced sequence of events and exactly the same every time. Picking out some girls at the party [da mansão da Playboy] and take them to the room. Wear your uniform for work: silk pajamas. Dim the lights. Put on music. The porn. Pass the marijuana. And have sex,” she said.

According to her, Hefner never looked at women and always looked at a mirror positioned on the ceiling of the room. “It was like he was doing it for the sake of doing something that was once fun and sexy.”

According to the widow’s report, Hefner seemed less experienced in sex than some teenagers. “It was clear to me that Hef never tried in her life to figure out how to satisfy another person.”

As a girlfriend and then a wife, she had to routinely maintain her appearance. If she gained weight, he would tell her to “tone up,” she writes in the book, and if her natural brown hair was showing, he would tell her to make it blonder.

She writes about how she and other girlfriends who lived in the mansion received a weekly payment of around US$1,000 (almost R$5,000 at current exchange rates) and how they had a strict curfew disguised as a schedule. Breaking it risked Hefner having a tantrum.
