Tom York of Radiohead announced that he composed the music for Daniele Lucchetti’s new film, “Confidenza”.

The film is an adaptation of Domenico Starnone’s 2019 novel of the same title. Starring Elio Germano, Isabella Ferrari, Victoria Puccini, it centers around the relationship between a teacher named Pietro and his former student, Teresa.

Luketti is best known for his work in critically acclaimed films including ‘The Yes Man’ and ‘The Ties’. He also directed the third season of HBO’s Italian drama series My Brilliant Friend.

The movie “Confidenza” is set to premiere at the Rotterdam International Film Festival later this week, but a theatrical release date has not been revealed.

In 2018, Tom York composed the score for the remake of Luca Guantanamo’s Suspiria. A year later, he collaborated on the song “Daily Battles” from the soundtrack for Edward Norton’s crime drama Motherless Brooklyn.
