Speaking to the audience, Adele, who now resides in Los Angeles, opened up about how she finally overcame her fear of the subway during a recent trip back home. The star explained how she found the courage to use public transport again. More specifically, she revealed that she overcame her fears to attend Abba’s Mamma Mia The Party in North Greenwich.
Adele explained: “I wasn’t even afraid to get on the subway. I loved it. It reminded me of my teenage years. I haven’t really been on the tube in England, not since I became famous. It has been since we had a terrorist attack there. I was scared because I have claustrophobia”.

However, during her holiday before Christmas, she overcame her trauma. “At the last break, after the shows, I wanted to go to the Mamma Mia party. I entered the subway and wore a mask. I had a lot of security guards with me to be fair and a few friends but I felt at home. You’ll never guess what happened, but I fell asleep!”she said jokingly.

Finally, the famous artist said: “I did a lot of thinking over the holidays and realized that I am in the happiest and most calm state I have ever been. I love myself more than ever. I like hanging out by myself or with people. I have always liked myself, but now I have a deep love for myself. I wish all of you, if you haven’t gotten there already, to do so”.
