Davi’s wife from BBB 24, Mani Reggo announced on social media, this Thursday (1), the launch of a new sandwich at his snack stand in front of the General Hospital of Salvador, in the Matatu neighborhood in the capital of Bahia: the X-Calabreso.
“Good morning, pepperoni people from Brazil! I’m launching the X-Calabreso sandwich at my stall! Hurry here at Mani’s stall”, he posted. “As there were many requests to prepare the X-Calabreso, I’m going to make it and put it here in my stall to sell. I’ll wait for you here, see?”, she wrote on the social network. Mani also showed the ingredients of the delicacy: bread, hamburger, lettuce, tomato, cheese, ham and Calabrian sausage.
The term X-Calabreso gained national recognition after an argument between Lucas Henrique, the Buddha, and Davi on Wednesday night (31) in the most watched house in Brazil. The Bahian called the capoeira teacher “calabreso” and the participants questioned the meaning of the word, suspecting that the app driver had used the expression as a fat-phobic attack.
“Calabreso” is an expression created by actor and comedian Toninho Tornado and became a meme on social networks. He went viral by changing the gender of words and calling people that way. “Do you know what an affectionate way is? They are my catchphrases, which I take from feminine to masculine. Pepperoni, pepperoni. Delicio, butterfly, Tatá Werneco… They are just affectionate gestures, they are catchphrases that I use in my pranks”, said Tornado.
