Not only Beyoncé and Jay-Z stole the show at the Grammy ceremony last Sunday (4). Blue Ivy, the couple’s daughter, just 12 years old, also posed for photos and took the stage at the awards ceremony. Her look caught attention, especially because the Queen B heiress wore a Brazilian piece.

Blue Ivy wore a romantic dress by American Vivienne Westwood, accompanied by white boots by Larroudé, created by Brazilian designer Marina Larroudé. Marina told F5 that it was a “wonderful surprise” to see her pieces on the Grammy stage and on the girl’s feet.

The brand works with a team in Los Angeles focused on “VIP dressing”. In other words, a segment aimed only at dressing “VIP” customers. “We are very proud to see Blue Ivy wearing one of our boots for such an important event,” said the designer.

The Brazilian based in New York launched Larroudé in June 2020, after working at Teen Vogue as fashion director and being VP at the department store Barneys. The shoe brand produces its pieces in Brazil.

Jay-Z received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, which honors his career, alongside his daughter. It was also there that the rapper criticized the Grammy’s position for not awarding Beyoncé and black artists the award for best album of the year.
