Today, Sylvia Plath passed awayperhaps her most pioneering poet “confessional poetry”as well as an admirable writer of the 20th century.

Some of her most famous works are her poetry collections “Ariel” and “The Colossus and Other Poems”, for which he won a Pulitzer Prize, making history as the first person to win a Pulitzer posthumously. Of course, we can’t forget her only novel, “The Glass Code”, a semi-autobiographical book, which talked about the depression he faced. Like all her works, this one also explored themes such as nature, death, the self, mental health.

Sylvia Plath was a dynamic writerwhich showed our world how much power words hold, especially in a time when women – but also men – did not dare to discuss openly about the issues she wrote about, but also experienced.

On February 11, 1963, she took her own life. He was only 30 years old. We remember her through her words about life, love and death, which continue to inspire us to this day.
