This is the long-awaited live-action revival of the beloved animated series starring Aang
Only one day left until series release on February 22 and Netflixshared the latest trailer for the “Avatar: The Last Airbender”.
This is the long-awaited live-action revival of the beloved animated series starring Aang, the young Avatar, who learns to control the four elements (water, earth, fire, air) to restore balance to a world threatened by terrifying Fire Nation.
The case
Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Once upon a time, the four nations lived in harmony, with the Avatar, the master of all four elements, keeping the peace between them. Everything changed, however, after the attack of the Fire Nation, which exterminated the Air Nomads and was the first step of the fire tamers towards the conquest of the world. The world, while waiting for the reincarnation of the Avatar, has lost hope. Like a light in the darkness, however, hope is born when Aang (Gordon Cormier), a young Airbender – and the last of his kind – awakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar.
Together with his new friends Sokka (Ian Owsley) and Katara (Kiawendio), siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on a fantastical, stormy journey to save the world and resist the Lord’s terrifying onslaught of Ozai Fire (Daniel Dae Kim).
But with a ruthless prince on the throne, Zuko (Dallas Liu), determined to catch them, the mission won’t be easy. They will need help from many allies and slick characters they will meet along the way.
