Australian police are investigating a paparazzi’s claim that he was assaulted by Taylor Swift’s father.

Ben McDonald, 51, accused Scott Swift, 71, of punching him in the face on a pier in Sydney in the early hours of Tuesday, according to the BBC.

The alleged incident happened right after his daughter Taylor Swift got off a boat when they were confronted by photographers.

Ben McDonald did not require medical treatment, police said.

So far Scott Swift has not publicly commented on the incident.

A video published by Australian media shows the singer, who is hidden under an umbrella, walking with her father and security guards along Neutral Bay Wharf at about 02:30 a.m. local time (15:30 GMT Monday).

The cameras flash before two voices—reported as a photographer and one of her guards—are heard accusing each other of touching the other’s umbrella. It is unclear whether the video captures the alleged incident.

The singer had just performed her last concert in Australia on her hugely popular Eras tour.

“The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to the North Shore Policing Area Command,” NSW Police said in a statement.
