When you break a record jointly held by three of the biggest British music ‘names’ of the last 30 years, you know you’re doing something right.

Before last night’s Brit Awardsonly three artists had ever won four awards at one ceremony – o Harry Styles last year, Adele in 2016 and Blur in 1995.

Speaking to Sky News before the ceremony, the Raye said she experienced one rejection after another from her record company until she was released from her contract. She then decided to release them herself, resulting in her song “Escapism” to become a viral hit on TikTok and then a number one single. This was only the beginning of her upward trajectory, which took her to the top of the music industry.

Among the awards the star won at this year’s BRIT Awards was the award for “Best New Artist-Artist”. but in fact, despite the fact that he is only 26 years old, he has already been in the music industry for several years.

Raye, whose real name is Rachel Keensigned to Polydor Records as a teenager and later appeared as a backing vocalist on five number one hits by David Guetta and Jax Jones. He also wrote lyrics for names like Beyonce and Rihanna.

Despite her talent, her own solo work never seemed to take off. On the surface, she seemed to be “flying” high with her collaborations, but in 2021 she released a series of tweets claiming she was being stifled and was preventing her from releasing her solo album.
