A reboot of the popular ’90s series starring David Heiselhoff and Pamela Anderson is coming to the small screen
Baywatch with David Hasselhoff (David Hasselhoff) was one of the most loved in the late 80s and 90s. It lasted 11 seasons with 242 episodes while it managed to acquire fanatical viewers from 145 countries and identify many actors with the roles in the series.
In addition to Heiselhoff, the cast included Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Jason Momoa, Alexandra Paul and Michael Newman. .
Now a reboot of the popular series is being prepared for the small screen.

“Daring ocean rescues, pristine beaches and iconic red swimsuits return, along with a whole new generation of Baywatch lifeguards who navigate complicated, messy personal lives in this action-packed reboot that proves there’s a family you’re born into and a family where you find,” according to the series’ official description.
The script is being written by Lara Olsen, who will also serve as showrunner with the same production team as the original series, reports Deadline.
The new episodes will be co-produced by Fremantle and Fox Entertainment.
The “Baywatch” reboot has found a home: Fox has closed on a script+penalty deal for a new version of the long-running surf-sand-and-saviors series from Fremantle.
