Kate Middleton seen in public for the first time after abdominal surgery

Kate Middleton was seen in public for the first time since her hospitalization for abdominal surgery in mid-January, according to the US press, which published a photo of Prince William in a car near London.

The Princess of Wales was in the passenger seat of a car driven by her mother, Carole, near Windsor Castle, when she ended up being spotted this Monday morning (4), near the royal family’s property.

The American program Entertainment Tonight showed a photo of Kate Middleton, now known as Princess Catherine, wearing sunglasses in the car. The British press decided not to publish the image following a request from Kensington Palace, the royal couple’s official residence. According to the Daily Mail newspaper, an “appeal was made so that (Catherine) can recover privately”.

After abdominal surgery, Kate was discharged on January 29th and since then, she has not been seen by the public. Although her absence was foreseen in the initial recovery plans, subjects and internet users speculate that there is something wrong with her.

Kate Middleton’s long absence caused the internet to speculate about the procedure she underwent, including suspicions of cancer. A royal source, however, ruled out the diagnosis of the disease to the American broadcaster CNN. Kensington Palace announced that the surgery was a success and that Kate would continue her recovery at home. A spokesperson also told People Magazine that the schedule is as expected.

More theories involve an alleged betrayal by Prince William, which would be causing a divorce. They also speculate about a facial surgery that would have gone wrong and even the possible donation of a kidney to her father-in-law, recently diagnosed with cancer, in exchange for Kate becoming queen one day.
