In July, the Colombian singer Karol G will fill Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu stadium four times. This is 240,000 tickets! It will probably be a record for paid attendance at a music concert in Spain by an artist, writes “El Pais”.

In May 2023, Coldplay sold 200,000 tickets for four nights at Barcelona’s Estadi Olimpic. With an average of 100 euros per ticket, the income from her concerts Karol G amount to 24 million euros, proof of today’s craze for live music and especially for female artists. Never before has there been a year in which so many releases and concerts by top female singers have coincided.

What is offered? At 16 songs, none of them are particularly long: 11 are under three minutes and the longest lasts 3:36. The album features the seven songs the Colombian singer released two years ago when her relationship with Gerard Pique ended (which is significant because the lyrics deal with that breakup). As such, there will be eight new tracks, including collaborations with Cardi B, Rauw Alejandro, Grupo Frontera and Bizarrap. Shakira appears solo in only four songs.

Musically, he “embraces” new trends in music, be it reggaeton or corrido tumbado. There is no doubt that it will garner millions of listens on the platforms and a tour will follow. Bets are being placed on how many Bernabéu concerts Shakira will announce. Three; Four? Or will she go for five to outdo compatriot Karol G? We will see that…

Beyonce will release her new album on March 29th. Everything shows that the “Act II” will focus on country.

What does it have to offer? Beyonce in a cowboy hat and spiked boots. The star claims her roots – she was born in Houston, Texas – and although most of the genre’s stars are white, country music has its roots in black traditional music before spreading to the southern United States in the 1920s and 1930s. The rapper Lil Nas X scored a huge crossover hit in 2018 with “Old Town Road,” so Beyonce’s turn isn’t new.

He released two tracks during the Super Bowl: the ballad “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em”, which immediately topped the charts in the United States and the United Kingdom.

For those fantasizing about a battle for the throne of female pop, Beyonce is embracing country today, the very style Taylor Swift launched her career with. Swift left commercial pop behind to conquer Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Taylor Swift’s 11th album, “The Tortured Poets Department”will be released on April 19. In addition, he will perform on May 29 and 30 at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid.

Not a week goes by when her brand doesn’t offer a new product for sale. Up to four editions of the album have already been announced (The Manuscript Edition, The Bolter Edition, The Albatross Edition and The Black Dog Edition). The only innovation compared to the original is the cover and an extra song.

The original album contains 16 tracks and two collaborations: with rapper Post Malone and, most interestingly, with Florence Welch of Florence & The Machine. Regarding the content, it is very possible that some of the songs cover her former partners. Or so say the extremely well-informed… “Swifties”. In charge of production will be Jack Antonoff, the “golden boy” producer who has worked on Swift’s previous albums and created the sound of Lorde, Lana Del Rey and St. Vincent.

Dua Lipa’s third album is due out this spring. He will also headline the Mad Cool festival in Madrid on July 10.

Last January the artist posed for the cover of “Rolling Stone” magazine. There she revealed that her third album, which her fans are calling DL3, “is a tribute to British rave culture with touches of psychedelic pop.”

Sounds good. It mentions Primal Scream (we assume because of Screamadelica) and Massive Attack, but omits the Stone Roses, the most influential British psychedelic pop band of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Blur and Oasis are also mentioned in interview, but more in terms of aesthetics.

Musically, we have already heard two tracks: “Houdini”, produced by, among others, Kevin Parker, leader of the psychedelic band Tame Impala- and “Training Season”. In both cases, Lipa continues to masterfully exploit musical nostalgia.

Billie Eilish’s third full-length album will be released in 2024. At just 22 years old, Eilish is the youngest artist to win two Oscars, both for best song. He took the statuette in 2022 for the James Bond theme song ‘No Time To Die’ and in the early hours of Sunday morning he repeated the trick with the ballad ‘What Was I Made For?’ from the movie Barbie.

With the gold statuette in her backpack, she is now focusing on her new job, about which little is known. Her brother is the producer.
