With his star at Avenue of Glory the famous American singer, composer and actor was honored yesterday in Hollywood Lenny Kravitz.

Star number 2,774 was placed at 1750 Vine Street, in front of the historic Capitol Records tower, while the singer enjoyed his unique moment, People reports.

“She’s incredible price to be on this street. To be with all these great people who have done incredible things in their lives is an honor,” Kravitz told the magazine.

“I never thought about it. Like I said, when I was a kid, I used to walk up and down these streets, but I always thought about where I was going to sleep that night. To have this star now I feel so surreal and I really am gratefulhe added.

“It means everything,” he said of being surrounded by loved ones at the ceremony (his daughter Zoe and Denzel Washington spoke for him at the event),

“Stardom is a beautiful thing, but if I didn’t have the people to share it with, it wouldn’t be the same. To have so many here who have known me my whole life and who have walked this journey with me is the real gift.”

The event was also attended by Marla Gibbs and Channing Tatum and Verdine White.

The four-time Grammy Award-winning singer is preparing his 12th studio album, Electric Blue Light, which will be released on May 24 before embarking on a 13-country European tour this summer.
