Former model, light eyes, 40 years old, married to a film director and friend of Kate Middleton. This is a small description of Rose Hanbury, whose name was involved in a separate chapter of the soap opera about the disappearance of Prince William’s wife. According to the British press, she has been identified as the lover of King Charles III’s eldest son.

In fact, rumors about a possible extramarital affair between Rose and William have been circulating in London since 2019, a time when they would have met at official royal events, as she is part of the British aristocracy. The former model worked as an advisor to Michael Gove, conservative politician and current United Kingdom Secretary for Housing and Communities, as soon as she left the catwalk.

She married David Rocksavage, film director and 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, descendant of one of England’s oldest aristocratic families and the two have three children. They live at Houghton Hall, an ancestral mansion in Norfolk, very close to Kate and William’s estate.

And it was because of this closeness that Rose and Kate became friends and the children strengthened the ties between the families even more. However, the relationship turned sour after the supposed romance became public and “The Sun” even reported that at the princess’ request, Rose had been banned from the Windsor family.

Last year, the rumors gained momentum again. The Portuguese magazine Flash! said that William spent Valentine’s Day, (February 14th) Valentine’s Day, alongside Rose. The news shook the image of the British royals and sparked speculation about the future of William and Kate’s marriage.

Despite the turmoil, the couple remained together and continued with their royal duties. Rose, in turn, avoided public appearances, but now her name is remembered again due to Kate’s disappearance.
