THE exhibition “Gianoulis Halepas: Dounai kai Lavine” runs through the whole life and work of the great sculptor from Tinos and among the approximately 150 works the visitor has the opportunity to enjoy Medea, ten of the twelve Satyrs and Eros, the Fairy Tale of the Beautiful, the sculpture of Oedipus and Antigone, extremely tombstones and shops with his designs, which are preserved. Shocking plans, found in the accounting books of the company of Halepa’s father and which are presented in their entirety for the first time to the public.

The 80 of the approximately 150 works of the exhibition belong to the Collection of the Onassis Foundation, while the rest are from the Collection of Works of Art of Tellogleio, the National Gallery Museum of Alexandros Soutsos, the Foundation of Tinian Culture (ITIP) of Tinos and the Museum of Gianoulis Talepos , as well as from private collections.

The exhibition is framed by a bilingual edition produced by the publishing department of the Onassis Foundation and designed by the Grid Office and is available in Tellogleio, on the Roof of the Onassis Foundation and in bookstores. The scientific curation of the exhibition and the publication is signed by Alexandra Goulaki-Voutyra and the design of the exhibition is by the set designer, Pavlos Thanopoulos.

The exhibition “Gianoulis Halepas: Dounai kai Lavine” will last until June 5, 2022 and will be open to the public from Saturday, February 19 at 10:00, with the tours starting on Sunday, February 20.
