After being filmed fighting in the street last Friday (15), Fábio Assunção and Daniel Alvim apologized to each other and justified themselves to their fans.
The actors, who are friends, fell out after a dinner with their companions, Helena Ranaldi, Daniel’s wife, and Isa Salmen, Fábio’s girlfriend.
In the fight, filmed by a passerby, Fábio appears cursing Daniel, who attacks his friend. Isa Salmen is desperate and asks someone to break up the mess. The two men are visibly altered, in the outside area of a well-known restaurant in the capital of São Paulo.
“On Friday, we went to dinner together, me, Helena, Isa and Fábio. At a certain point in the night we started talking, for a change, about politics and we came to some trigger. Fábio, who is my brother, said something something that, right then, turned into an argument and I lost control”, reported Daniel.
“I apologized to him, we met the next day, we had lunch, we were together. And we came here to make this video because we were uncomfortable with the fact that he was hot-headed, that he got out of control and that this was not in our nature “, added the actor and director.
Fábio Assunção continued: “We are very brothers, the conversation escalated. We didn’t come to give any satisfaction on the internet, but people film it and we want to make it clear that this is not what we practice. That’s what friends are: fight, argue, make peace and life goes on. Today we were scared because this news came”, says the actor.
“I apologize publicly if I offended you,” adds Daniel. “We’ve already asked, we’ve already apologized, we’re together”, responds Fábio. The two end the video with a hug.
