Margot Robbie is set to produce the film “The Sims” based on the iconic video game of the same name.

After the success of the film “Barbie”the actress’ production company, LuckyChap will bring the best-selling live-simulation video game of all time to the big screen.

Electronic Arts, which published the game, will also be involved in the creative and production process, according to Variety.

More than 200 million copies of ‘The Sims’ have been sold worldwide, allowing users to control virtual ‘Sims’ people, fulfilling their needs and simulating their lives.

Fans of the game in their comments on social media insisted that the film should be shot in Simlish, the made-up language spoken by the characters, otherwise “it won’t make sense” and noted that it should not have subtitles.
