Luana Piovani defends Fernanda from BBB 24 after criticism from Xuxa

Luana Piovani came to the defense of Fernanda, from BBB 24, after Xuxa Meneghel criticized her outburst about exhaustion in the maternity ward. The actress mentioned the lack of empathy and the privileges that certain mothers have.

“Friends, friends, business aside. She had a daughter, with the life she asked God for, with 350 people by her side. She also had a daughter who is a girl,” said Piovani in Instagram stories, referring to Xuxa. “Now criticizing an exhausted mother, who is poor, who has a completely difficult life? You are all crazy, you have completely lost track,” he added. “What a lack of empathy! Judging without knowing the girl’s shoe size.”

In conversation with Giovanna Pitel, Fernanda opened up about exhausting motherhood at BBB: “Things, sometimes… Everything is going wrong, Pitel. There are days when you want to kill your children. You want to be arrested. There are days when you look at those kids and you say: ‘If I lived in a building, I would throw it out the window'”.

With the repercussion of the conversation, Xuxa, an activist for children’s rights, spoke out, saying that Fernanda endorses child violence. “For words like this from Fernanda that make us believe that human beings have a lot to learn about love and care for their children. We shouldn’t even be joking about saying this, if you don’t have the patience, time and love to have children, don’t have them”, wrote the presenter.
