Amid rumors that the 33-year-old British actor has almost signed a deal to follow in Daniel Craig’s footsteps as 007, anti-Semitic comments have surfaced online.

The hashtag #BoycottJamesBond it has also been widely shared on X, formerly Twitter.

Fans have been furious with the producers, writing: “Really bad timing with Israel committing genocide in Gaza. Same on you. I hope your company goes under.” “Boycott Bond, Free Palestine”, others write. “I will not buy a ticket for any of the company’s films. I will boycott all her movies”another user writes.

The Community Security Trust, which tracks anti-Semitic incidents, said Jews faced an increase in attacks following Israel’s retaliation to Hamas terror attacks in October. Aaron publicly stated that he is Jewish in a recent interview.

The Sun reported on Monday that the British actor has “officially been offered the chance to play James Bond”, ending months of speculation over Daniel Craig’s successor. However, 24 hours later, the BBC put an end to the speculation, with a production insider revealing there was “no truth to the rumours”.
