Lexa says she is in a transition phase in her career and promises to release hits with a ‘different feel’

Funkeira, but not much. After a 10-year career as one of the representatives of Rio funk, Lexa decides to switch gears and choose a completely different repertoire, which she prefers to put on the pop shelf, but with an R&B touch.

“It has a very different feel, which I can’t even tell if it’s pop [risos]. But since pop refers to what is popular, ok. I accept that definition, but it’s a very different sound from anything I’ve ever done,” he told F5 on the On Board Festival cruise.

Lexa hopes to release singles from this new work this semester, which she doesn’t say in full words, but shows signs that this is the beginning of an international career.

“I’m singing in Portuguese but it has international elements, yes”, explains the singer who recorded the new album in Miami, USA. “It was incredible and I’m excited. I don’t sing in English. I sing some songs in Spanish”, she says.

She also tells the F5 about moving out of Brazil soon. “I’m wanting to live abroad for a little while this year, even to improve other languages. I’m still deciding on the place, I already have it more or less in mind. But as soon as I do, I’ll let you know”, he comments.

Lexa denies that Anitta is in the middle of this new project. “I’m working on the entire project. All mine. But the day I need some strength or advice, I’m sure that if I talk to her, Anitta will be there. She’s very welcoming and will give me the best tips in the world. “, he recognizes.

The singer also comments on her participation in Dança dos Famosos. “I’ve been rehearsing every day and as I didn’t show for a few weeks it was less exciting. Now that I’m back with my schedule it’s difficult. I lost two kilos due to the rush, but that’s ok. It’s been an incredible experience, a pleasure”, he concludes. .
