Favorite to win BBB 24, Bahian Davi Brito will not only receive a million-dollar prize if he emerges victorious on the Globo reality show. It will also make good money for those who bet that the app driver would win the contest at betting houses right at the beginning of his career.
O F5 monitored the odds of three bookmakers —Betano, Bet365 and Sportsbet.io— on January 9, when Davi definitively joined the program led by Tadeu Schmidt.
Betano offered a quote of 8.23 ​​for Davi’s victory at the beginning of the program. In other words, for every R$1 invested, the bettor earned R$8.
Sportsbet.io had a quote close to the competitor in relation to Davi. Anyone who bet on him that day saw a quote of 8.42 on the platform.
The most generous quote was from Bet365. On the 9th, those who bet on Davi saw an odd, as the odds are popularly called, of 15.00. In other words, if a person bet R$1,000, they would win R$15,000 in return with Davi’s victory.
On that occasion, Davi’s odds at Bet365 were tied with Leidy Elin and Ráculo in the betting ranking. The anonymous favorite at that moment was Beatriz Reis, with a price of 9.00. All the boxes —the famous participants— had lower odds, and were considered favorites to win, between 6.00 and 8.00.
One of the bettors who immediately saw Davi’s potential was Juliano Silva, a resident of Aracaju (SE) who invests in bets of all types. He invested heavily in the driver’s victory. He paid R$10,000 and, if the Bahian wins, he will have a return of R$150,000.

The BBB 24 final will take place next Tuesday (16) after 100 days of confinement. Globo celebrates the success of the program, in terms of audience and impact.
