The sety My Style Rocks transforms today into… Cabaret for his needs Gala! The contestants are inspired by women such as Dita Von Teese, Marlene Dietrich, Liza Minelli, Mistinguett and Klaus Nomi and must create contemporary images for today’s style-inspired women without appearing too theatrical costumes or wardrobe outfit. Concepts should also escape from “themed parties” and respond to a possible version of reality.
Cabaret style is characterized by corsets with deep necklines, high heels, lace, garters, bright colors but also black, white and red which are the main characters.
Fluffy, long skirts, high side slits, feathers, boas, lace, tall gloves, bows, veils and hats are elements that can be incorporated into a Cabaret ensemble.
Will the contestants manage to bring an ensemble that will highlight them as stars of the evening or will they be trapped in the logic of the costume?
