The postpartum period for model Andressa Urach, 34, has definitely not been easy, who recently gave birth to Leon, her son with businessman Thiago Lopes. On social media, she confided to fans that she wants to cry all the time.
“I really feel like crying. The pain seems like it will never end. I have pain in my head, in my right breast and in my uterus”, she wrote in her Stories.
Andressa says that not even after taking medication, the discomfort is lessened. As if that wasn’t enough, the model also revealed to her followers that she has purple body parts due to medical procedures.
“I’m all purple from being pierced in the hospital to put medication! I didn’t even have a vein to stay more days in hospital”, she posted. In all, Andressa remained hospitalized for 12 days before delivery.
On February 4th, Andressa, then 33 weeks pregnant, had to go to the hospital after having spikes in high blood pressure, feeling a headache and having lots of contractions. According to her husband, Thiago Lopes, the couple was worried about the health of the baby, who was born prematurely.
The baby was born around 8pm on the 11th, measuring 46 centimeters and weighing around 2.5 kg. “He’s beautiful, guys, he doesn’t look like a premature baby,” Mom said.
The day she left the hospital, she had already told her about her first symptoms. Andressa had one of her breasts bandaged because of complications and difficulties. “I’m extremely sick, very bad. I had a horrible migraine this morning, my right chest is stoned and I’m in a lot of pain”, she said.
