BBB 22: Arthur reflects what it is to be ‘more or less a man’ after Laís’ speech

Arthur Aguiar received harsh criticism from Laís and Larissa during the Discordia Game that took place this Monday night (21) at Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo). Appointed as someone who “does not win at all” by the sisters, the actor was accused of being self-interested and “less of a man”, according to the participants’ speeches.

In a conversation with DG and Paulo André in the bedroom before going to bed, Arthur commented that he would have liked to refute Laís’ speech, who stated that he was not “man enough” to vote Jade Picon on the wall. At the time, the doctor said that he had a prescription to “attack” Jade, since he knew that she is strong out here and that’s why he chose to go with her.

“I wish I had said, ‘I didn’t know that what defined whether I was more of a man or less of a man was me putting her [Jade] on the wall or not’, you know?”, said Arthur.

The actor also said that he’s not a kid and that’s why he doesn’t play with emotion, but with reason. Like Laís, he gave her the “no way to win” sign from the Game of Discord to her. He argued saying that he didn’t see her as a player and even said that she was known only for being “Barbara’s friend”, the last one eliminated last week.

When it was his turn to speak, Arthur still responded to Laís’ sting and said that he admired Jade as a player and a person, and that he just didn’t vote for her yet because he didn’t have the opportunity – and also if that were the case, he would evaluate the right moment to do that.

Jade Picon has already nominated Arthur Aguiar for Paredão two weeks in a row and has him as a declared target. This has made the actor’s participation stronger and stronger on the show. He is currently touted as one of the favorites to reach the final.

Out here, the fighting mood is also in full swing. His wife, Maíra Cardi, ex-BBB and digital influencer, has made several comments about the attacks that her husband has been suffering from Jade and Laís. She even threatened to sue Jade over a publication made on the participant’s social networks.
