Alec Baldwin he has been caught on camera ringing the phone of a protester who approached him inside a New York coffee shop.

The video of the upset actor was posted on social media. Alec Baldwin, also seen in the video, asked a cafe employee to call the police and told the protester there was no way she could be shouting “Free Palestine”.

“Alec, can you please say that slogan once,” the protester said to the famous actor. “Free Palestine, Alec, just say it once and I’ll leave you alone, I swear…”

A cafeteria employee politely asked the protester to stop bothering and fighting with the actor. However, Alec Baldwin, while heading for the door to leave, threw the protester’s phone down, clearly irritated.

“Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and you didn’t go to jail”the protester told him, referring to the fatal shooting of filmmaker Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust.”

Baldwin’s criminal trial in the shooting is set to begin July 10 after a jury indicted him on manslaughter charges in January.

The 66-year-old actor has pleaded not guilty to the charge and his defense lawyers are asking the judge to dismiss the indictment against him, calling it a “witch hunt” for the actor.
