The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center celebrates five years of operation on Wednesday, February 23rd.
This anniversary was the occasion for the Niarchos Foundation to create and publish a video in which a visitor unfolds his thoughts about the Foundation’s space.
“I found my step – I found my attitude – I also find my breath. My eyes are closed and I cross you with great confidence. I feel the steps I feel the breaths I feel the bodies ah the bodies warm and lukewarm high massively tight or lying down, long dragged like epic fleeting like lightning, crawling like a sleepy reading or hovering like hints – and yet see: I cross you in a hand grab the sponge and turn off all the sounds, turn off the murmurs, the laughter and the bells, the first, the second, the third, until your voice is heard, clear and alone: a familiar melody that I hear for the first time. “Thanks to you I found my face.”
The voice that is heard is by Harry Frangoulis, the direction belongs to Andreas Loukakos, while the protagonist is Angel Martinez Sanchez, dancer of the Ballet of the National Opera.
