An all-star cast will star in the psychological thriller “The Hunstman” directed by Kyle Kauwika Harris.

The Garrett Dillahunt (Garrett Dillahunt), Elizabeth Mitchell (Elizabeth Mitchell), Shawn Ashmore (Shawn Ashmore) and Jesse Schram (Jessy Schram) will join forces with filming beginning in Oklahoma on May 20.

The film is based on the novel of the same name Judith Sanders, which was released in 2022, adapted by Steven Jon Whritner. It follows an ICU nurse who volunteers to read to a comatose patient and is considered the prime suspect in six murders of young women in a small town.

“I’m excited to begin filming this dark and gripping story,” the director told Deadline. “We live in a world where appearances are often deceiving and one of the many interesting aspects of this work is how it deals with the psyche and the reasons why someone is driven to kill. ‘The Huntsman’ is a film that will shake the viewer,” he added.

Frank Malinoski and Garret Dillahunt will be among its executive producers “The Hunstman”. Filming will be completed on June 28.
