The start of the application process for the ARGO AWARDS 2022 was decided by the ARGO AWARDS Committee.
The ARGO AWARDS are an initiative of the International ARGO Association – NETWORK OF GREEK BRUSSELS, whose goal is to rewarding the Greeks of the Diaspora honoring their origin, the promotion of their achievements to set an example for the younger generations, the strengthening of extroversion, but also the awareness of Greece for the success of its young people abroad.
The ARGO AWARDS cover the following categories:
• Sports Award
• Humanitarian Award
• Gastronomy Award
• Science Award
• Entrepreneurship Award
• Innovation Award
• Culture and Arts Award
• Public Offer Award
THE option for 2022 is the work of the Awards Committee, whose Chairman is Mr. Vassilios Skouris, Om. Professor of the Law School of AUTh, former President of the Court of Justice of the European Union, and its Members are:
• Dinos Arkoumanis, Om. Professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of London, President of the Academic Council of the Metropolitan College
• Markos Veremis, President of Upstream, Partner Big Pi Venture Capital
• Efthymios Vidalis, Chairman of the BSE Executive Committee
• Irini Geroulanou, Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Benaki Museum
• Panagiotis Giannakis, Basketball Coach
• Nikiforos Diamantouros, Academic, former European Ombudsman
• Annie Iliopoulou, Businesswoman – Publisher
• Michalis Bletsas, Researcher / Director of Informatics MIT Media Lab
