With an impeccable performance, Satti managed to excite the thousands of Eurofans in the stands of Malmö Arena in Sweden and get the ticket to the final.
Last night Marina Satti threw her “Dice” on the stage of Malmö Arena, Sweden and passed to the grand final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held on Saturday 11 May in Sweden’s third largest city.
With an impeccable performance, Satti managed to stir up the thousands of Eurofans in the stands and get the ticket to the final.
The remaining countries that will join Greece are Latvia, Austria, the Netherlands, Norway, Israel, Estonia, Switzerland, Georgia and Armenia.
“Number one” Elena Paparizou made a unique appearance on the stage of Malmö dressed in a full body creation by the hand of Vrettos Vrettakos decorated with 1,000,000 crystals, almost 20 years since the first time she gave in Greece. She is joined by the Turkish singer and composer Sertab Erener and the Swedish artist Charlotte Perrelli.
In her first statements after qualifying, Marina Satti said: “I feel nervous but excited at the same time about what is going to happen. If you saw us backstage, we were dancing like crazy. We will find the time to unwind.”
“The song doesn’t have a tourist feel but the video clip does. We wanted to show with humor the stereotypes that dominate the image of Greece. For me, it is a very big opportunity that I am here to show our other side as well” he said.
In the artist draw for the part of the Grand Final in which they will perform, Marina Satti has drawn the first half draw, so we will see Greece compete between positions 2-13.
